- XML Editor 1.1.4 By Theodore H. Smith
XML Editor is a neat, childlike and cogent graphical XML editing and validation tool. It features full DTD validation, but doesn't involve a DTD if you only need to do well-formedness validation. It gives meaningful messages that dot you a engagement with the XML to the DTD, and order you why your XML conflicted the DTD. It potty order you if your XML is ill formed in other ways. It has two viewing modes, "Tree" mood and "Source" mood. Source mood lets you do text editing on your XML. XML Editor will order you exactly where in your source an mistake exists, and the type of mistake, making fixing spoiled XML light. What's New: Version 1.1.4 fixes the following: Fixed an out of ordering mistake when replacing XML structures with entities. Fixed a problem where text rarely wasn't getting selected when spoiled XML was found when using a DTD. Fixed an inner microbe that occured with validating via DocBook, when using no DTD cache, and some entity files. Fixed a microbe with the property editor turning & into & when it shouldn't. Property editor appears to maintain the entity check box setting right. Property editor sets text when pressing the "Set Text" button instantly. Catches empty entities errors instantly. Catches & literals better errors instantly. Warns you of not having the right OS translation if you don't get it. |
