Dial Number will use your Mac's built-in speakers to dial a telephone number. You can insert a telephone number manually or you can lookup the Address Book.app or Microsoft Entourage contacts by mention for telephone numbers. You can yet lookup Google.com. Further, if you click the disclosure triangle, you will witness additional features including a accomplished telephone keypad (command-1 will dial 1, command-2 will dial 2, etc.) and a text field for entering text to exchange to a telephone number (e.g., 1-800-NUMBER becomes 1-800-686237).
