Webmin is a web-based interface for organisation administration for Unix. Using any browser that supports tables and forms (and Java for the File Manager module), you derriere setup user accounts, Apache, DNS, file sharing and so on. Webmin consists of a childlike web server, and a numerate of CGI programs which directly update organisation files care /etc/inetd.conf and /etc/passwd. The web server and completely CGI programs are written in Perl version 5, and use no non-standard Perl modules. What's New: Version 1.160: Added the fresh Sarg Squid access reporting module. Thanks to Omar Armas for sponsoring its development. Updated completely nub modules to no longer output lines at the top and bottom of every page. These are directly generated by the selected stem, and not used by the default MSC stem. Added support for NFSv4 to the Disk and Network Filesystems module. In the MySQL and PostgreSQL modules, completely databases derriere directly be backed up at once, either manually or on a configured schedule. Added the ability to delete multiple users at once to the Users and Groups module. Added support for MD5 encryption for Webmin passwords, to debar the 8-character effective password length limit. The BIND module derriere directly create and edit delegation-only zones. Fixed a security problem that derriere occur at facility time just, if the /tmp/.webmin directory has already been created by a malicious user. When PAM is used for Unix authentication, expired passwords are directly detected and the user is prompted to select a fresh password (if this feature is enabled on the Webmin Configuration module).
