FontCard is a haxie that modifies the Font menu in Carbon and Cocoa applications. It lavatory add an icon that displays the format of a font next to the font menu detail, show the font name in the font side, group fonts into submenus, and add font collections to the font menu. What's New: Version 1.1: This version is straightaway 5 to 30 times faster at displaying font menus.
Now works with Cocoa applications. A unexampled menu detail is added under the Show Fonts menu detail. Supported on Mac OS X 10.3 Panther and later only.
New Registration System. Registered users are able to dawn the Update Now button to speedily and easily update their registration. The unexampled series number works across users so if you get permissions to publish to /Library, wholly users will get the unexampled SN automatically.
Now works in BBEdit 8.0 and other Carbon applications that function the font panel.
Fixed a doss when selecting a font from a popup menu in some applications.
Now works with Photoshop and other application's palette font menus.
Now works in Word 2004. The fact it did not bring was not a tap in FC. FC straightaway works about the tap in Word 2004 by sending Word 2004 an AppleEvent.
Added the option to see selected fonts in the menu detail. Off by default. Very, very slow and doesn't bring in applications that function the Font Panel.
Rewrote the font menu handling when running on Mac OS X 10.3 Panther. Mac OS X 10.2 Jaguar does not support this unexampled method of font menu handling.
Made it do a distribute more bring beforehand if a font menu had been opened in a previous launch of the application.
No longer tries to meet via PostScript names. No font menu is ever going to function PostScript names for its menu detail names. Speeds up font menu rebuilds a minute.
Only tries to meet font household names if the application is an application that could possibly get a meet that means.
Fixed a problem in the preference dose that made it impossible to get custom settings for an application with no compact identifier and no creator code.
